ST. PETERSBURG — A waterfront, Mediterranean-style estate that is home to the owners of the Gold & Diamond Source jewelry store was listed on the market Thursday for $2.7 million. It’s located near the southern tip of Pinellas County, below Coquina Key.
With views of the downtown Tampa skyline and its own dock, the home at 6216 Bahama Shores Drive S has multiple outdoor koi ponds as well as two large fishtanks in the foyer.
The home was built in 1949 and has about 6,000 interior square feet on a .82-acre lot. Its current owners are Steven and Julie Weintraub, who appear in ubiquitous television and radio ads together to promote their Clearwater store.
“This home will always be near and dear to us, as it is where we have raised our family during the past thirty years,” Steven Weintraub said in a statement. Julie Weintraub said that they “look forward to passing along the estate to someone who will continue making great memories in this fabulous home.”
The estate has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, plus a private outdoor terrace off the master bedroom that overlooks the pool and waterfront. Other amenities include Florida rooms, Tennessee marble floors, a greenhouse, a heated spa and a rooftop terrace.
The listing is by Terry Tillung of Tillung Tampa Bay, who is affiliated with the Clearwater Beach office of Coldwell Banker Realty.
