Buying a house or finding an apartment in the Tampa Bay area often feels like searching for the needle in a haystack. We dream of ending up in the right location, at the right price point with all the bells and whistles. But how often does that actually happen?

Even once you’ve settled into a new home, there’s still so much that could go wrong. Leaky pipes. Squirrels in the attic. Noisy upstairs neighbors. Creepy roommates.

Maybe you’re lucky, and have a great living situation. But if not, we want to hear about housing woes from you for a new series called Tampa Bay Horror Stories.

The idea is to share cautionary tales from our community so we can all commiserate together and learn a thing or two along the way.

Submit your story using the Google form above. (You can also access the form here.) It could be about a terrible landlord or a pushy real estate agent. A ghost in your basement or a hole in your ceiling. Whatever the case, we look forward to hearing from you.
