Christian music group Unspoken will perform with opening artist, Cole Jennette, at 7 tonight at Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church, 604 N Valrico Road in Valrico.
Unspoken is an up-and-coming Christian music group that already has had two top-five singles on the Christian music charts. The band came together after lead singer, Chad Matson, met guitarist, Mike Gomez, on a mission trip in the Dominican Republic. After struggling with drug and alcohol addiction for years, Matson decided to go on a mission trip to rebuild his relationship with God. The band will perform songs from their latest album, Follow Through, released in August.
Its name stems from a commitment to "live lives that are unspoken testimonies to God's love and power, and to speak what oftentimes goes unspoken. In those paired desires are born songs of hope that celebrate the journey of every believer and provide a bright hope for each new day."
Cole Jennette is a local Christian music recording artist who serves as worship leader at Riverside Church in Fort Myers.
