ST. PETERSBURG — Heading to Monday’s Tampa Bay Rays game?

Parking is bound to be more difficult than normal, as team officials announced they sold more than 30,000 tickets and have even considered expanding the seating to about 40,000.

That means fans who plan to park at the Tropicana Field main lots better arrive early; those spots are liable to go fast.

Otherwise, parking will be available at the Sundial garage (the entrance is at 117 Second St. N) or the SouthCore lot (the entrance is at 101 First Ave. S) for $5.

The Mahaffey Theater is also opening its lots for $10.

A shuttle will run between the stadium, the Mahaffey and the SouthCore garage starting two hours before the game until one hour after the game.

Game time could be 1:05, 2:05 or 3:35 pending whether one or both of the National League division series are over.
