St. Petersburg police are investigating a late-night crash on Central Avenue in which one person was killed and three people were seriously injured.
Police said the crash occurred late Wednesday night at Central Avenue and 54th Street when a pickup truck with four people inside crashed into a tree.
One person died and the other three have life-threatening injuries, police said in a news release.
Police identified the person who died as William Harris, 52, of St. Petersburg, and said he was a passenger in the truck.
No other information was released by police.
