Police search for assailant in shooting at Reservoir bar in Ybor City

TAMPA — Police are searching for a man who shot and injured a man at an Ybor City bar early Wednesday.

A man was standing in the Reservoir bar, 1518 7th Ave., about 1:45 a.m. when another man shot at him twice, striking him in the hip, according to Tampa police. The man was taken to Tampa General Hospital and listed in stable condition, police said.

Police said the suspect was a Black man, possibly in his 20s, 5-foot-10 and with a slim build. He had short black braids and was possibly wearing a red and black hoodie with stripes and black skinny jeans.
