TAMPA — A 38-year-old man was found dead in an abandoned blue BMW on Tuesday morning in Seminole Heights, according to Tampa police.
Officers were sent at 8:47 a.m. to investigate a report of an abandoned car in the 6800 block of Lyman Avenue, police said, near Sligh Middle Magnet School.
Inside, officers say they found the body of a man who had suffered upper body trauma.
The man was found after police responded to a call about the abandoned vehicle around 9 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
Tampa police did not release the name of the man or any other information about the case. The investigation is ongoing.
