TAMPA — One man was shot Thursday at the Columbus Court Apartments near the west bank of the Hillsborough River, according to Tampa Police.
Police say they were dispatched to the apartments just before 4 p.m. related to a report of shots fired. On arrival, they found a man suffering from a critical gunshot wound.
Emergency first aid was provided to the man. But he died at the scene, according to police.
The department did not release any other information about the shooting and no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is urged to contact Tampa Police at (813)-231-6130.
