A 25-year-old woman from Land O’Lakes died after a crash Saturday night near St. Leo’s campus in Pasco County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver overtook and collided with the back of a vehicle in front of her on State Road 52, just east of Priory Circle about 9 p.m. Saturday. Her car collided with a concrete culvert before veering into a grass shoulder.
The driver was transported to a hospital, where she died from injuries, troopers said.
