The intersection of Westshore and Gandy boulevards will be closed much of this week, due to the ongoing Selmon Expressway extension project.

Construction crews will be working there from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, according to project spokeswoman Kym Graves, so the area will be closed during those hours to northbound and southbound traffic.

Drivers headed in those directions on Westshore must turn right onto Gandy and use available u-turn lanes. Eastbound and westbound traffic will flow normally.
