TAMPA — Police reopened all eastbound lanes of the Courtney Campbell Causeway on Friday morning after a crash involving a moped sent the rider to the hospital.

Tampa police issued a news release shortly after 10 a.m. announcing all lanes had reopened.

The crash happened about 7 a.m. and involved a moped and at least one other vehicle, police said. The person riding the moped was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No other details were immediately released.
