The Florida Highway Patrol reported at 10:25 a.m. that the crash occurred just south of the hump. Though at least one injury had been reported, it is not expected to be life threatening.

Troopers said the three inside lanes in the southbound direction on the bridge were closed, but they issued an update just after noon saying they had been re-opened.

No other details were immediately available.
