Starting Tuesday, some SunPass services will be unavailable for about a week as the pre-paid toll system undergoes maintenance.

Customers' toll transactions will still be tracked, but actual charges will be held until the system becomes operational again. That is expected to happen on June 11 at 9 a.m.

Folks who use the system may want to reload their account online before June 5 to make certain they have enough funds to cover toll charges during the maintenance period.

New SunPass transponders can be purchased during that time period but will not be able to be activated during the maintenance period.

The toll system's call centers website, Toll-By-Plate website, mobile app, reload kiosks, traffic citation payments, and all SunPass parking will be affected during the maintenance period.

Any customers who use the SunPass parking system at airports or stadiums should bring an alternative form of payment during the maintenance period. The Orlando International Airport is the only exception, as that airport's system will still be operational.
