TAMPA — A burning car slowed Thursday morning rush hour traffic on southbound Interstate 275 just west of downtown Tampa.
Police and firefighters were on the scene of the fire near the Howard-Armenia avenue exits. As of 7:20 a.m., the car was fully engulfed in flames, but some southbound traffic was getting by.
Tampa Fire Rescue spokesman Jason Penny said there were no injuries.
