LAND O'LAKES — Deputies shut down part of State Road 52 Monday morning due to a possible sinkhole.
The hole is about 2 feet wide on the shoulder of SR 52, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said. Only one lane of traffic is open from Ehren Cutoff to State Road 41.
Officials said to watch for traffic backups as the state Department of Transportation repairs the road.
Drivers were encouraged to seek alternate routes.
