TAMPA — Some flights to and from Washington, D.C., and nearby areas were delayed Wednesday morning due to a strong snow storm.
The storm canceled flights, closed schools and shut federal offices across Washington, D.C.
Tampa International Airport canceled about 20 flights Wednesday morning to and from Washington, D.C., Providence, R.I., Baltimore, Md. and nearby areas.
Some flights were delayed, but airports such as Washington Dulles International Airport canceled all of their outgoing flights and most of their incoming flights Wednesday morning due to the storm.
