Hurricane Hermine left its mark on the Tampa Bay area last week, causing widespread flooding that still lingers in parts of the Tampa Bay region. But as Hermine moves further away, the local weather pattern is returning to the usual late summer routine.
That means you can expect a dry Labor Day morning with moderate temperatures, according to 10Weather WTSP. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will pass through, with about 40 percent coverage. Most of those storms will develop after 3 p.m. and will wrap up by 9 p.m.
And after a week of gray skies and cooler air, the temperature will be rising. Highs will climb back into the low 90s, so be prepared for the heat and humidity.
