Video: Waterspout captured ripping across waves off Siesta Key on Monday

As summer inches closer to Tampa Bay, crazy weather does, too.

Gusty winds close down bridges and ramp up rip current risks. Roads flood and trees fall. And then there's the threat of hurricanes.

Now, it's not even into the second week of June and a waterspout was spotted Monday afternoon off Siesta Key.

This video, posted to Instagram by @sarasotaangela and reposted by WTSP, Channel 10, shows the waterspout spinning off the coast.
