Hometown Pasco for Aug. 23

Atria chefs from Atria Windsor Woods, Atria Evergreen Woods, Atria Lutz and Atria Park of Baypoint Village went head-to-head in the fifth-annual Chef Showdown held July 24 at Atria Windsor Woods in Hudson. The cooking face-off had only one rule -- all recipes had to include the pepper. The competition was judged by a panel of senior advisers, residents and guests. The winner was Chef Mike Tate from Atria Evergreen Woods, whose sweet cream stuffed chocolate dipped peppers won over the panel. Pictured, from left: Chef Tim Linstad from Atria Windsor Woods (3rd Place), Chef Cody Stevens from Atria Park of Baypoint Village (2nd place), Chef Carl Miller from Atria Lutz (4th place), and Chef Mike Tate and assistant Director of Culinary Services Daniel Chiarella from Atria Evergreen Woods (1st place).
