TRADE SHOW SPONSORS WANTED: The Pasco Economic Development Council's annual awards and trade show will be Sept. 5 at Saddlebrook Resort. The event is to recognize business and community leaders for their contributions to growing and strengthening the economy, and includes an industry trade show and awards ceremony. Sponsors are needed for the awards. Sponsorships are available from $500 to $5,000, with five benefit levels. Early sponsorship receives more visible recognition and better seating at the presentation and showcase locations. Building skills

SMARTSTART CLASS: A free class, "Without a Plan, You're Lost," will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. June 26 at the East Pasco Entrepreneur Center, 15029 14th St., Dade City.   10. A driver lost control and plowed into the garage of a townhouse in the 21400 block of Clubside Loop in Land O Lakes. The homeowner was in the garage at the time but was not injured.
