HOSPITAL GETS 'A' GRADE FOR SAFETY: Medical Center of Trinity was awarded an "A" from the Leapfrog Group's Fall 2018 Hospital Safety Grade. The designation recognizes the hospital's efforts in protecting patients from harm and meeting the highest safety standards in the U.S. The Safety Grade assigns a grade to hospitals throughout the country based on their performance in preventing medical errors, infections and other harm among patients in their care. To see Medical Center of Trinity's full grade details, visit hospitalsafetygrade.org.

HOSPITAL INVITED TO ROSE PARADE: Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point has received an invitation to participate in the 2019 Donate Life Rose Parade float's Hospital CEO rose dedications, as part of the Rose Parade prior to the Rose Bowl college football game on New Year's Day. One of the trademarks of the annual Donate Life float design is the dedication garden, which allows CEOs of hospitals, transplant centers and other organizations to dedicate a Donate Life rose. Each rose will be placed in a vial that carries the CEO's personal message. The Donate Life Rose Parade float has become a national tradition featuring dozens of participants each year — riders who received transplants, walkers who are living donors, and deceased donors memorialized in "floragraph" portraits integrated into the float's design.

HOOTERS CALENDAR TOUR: Local Hooter restaurants will have a visit from 25 Hooter girls featured in the 2019 Hooters calendar as part of the Hooters Calendar Tour. There will be autograph signings. The girls will visit Pasco and Hernando county Hooters on Dec. 2: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Hooters of Spring Hill, 3437 Commercial Way; and 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Hooters of Port Richey, 5336 Treadway Drive.
