The Gin Game opens June 21 at Stage West

SPRING HILL — A special presentation of the Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, The Gin Game, will be performed over two weekends, June 21-30, in the Forum at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd.

The dramatic comedy by D.L. Coburn tells the story of two lonely souls who meet, bond and share life experiences over a card game at a retirement home. The show features veteran performers Betsy Glasson as Fonzia Dorsey and Ernie Rowland as Weller Martin. It is directed by Mark Burdette.

Show times are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays, and 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are $10. For information or ticket reservations, call the box office at (352) 683-5113; visit the website at stagewestflorida.com
