Festivals

New Port Richey Carnival: The St. George Greek Orthodox Church hosts its annual festival 5 to 11 p.m. Feb. 1, noon to 11 p.m. Feb. 2 and noon to 9 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Kontos Event Center, 9426 Little Road, New Port Richey. The event features a carnival with midway rides, games, fair food, a winter festival, a barbecue competition, vendors, raffle prizes, DJ dancing and live music by the Bearded Brothers Band and Gypsy Rain. Snowbird Palooza: The annual event will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 2 at Zephyr Park, 38116 Fifth Ave, Zephyrhills.
