During the last six months of my internship I was lucky enough to work with an amazing crew of diverse visual journalist that push the way stories are told and presented. It’s been a huge learning curve watching the inner workings of how this paper manages the nonstop weirdness of Florida news. From creating teams to cover Hurricane Michael to mapping out the NFL season, I consider myself lucky to be part of a newsroom that isn’t afraid to throw the intern into the mix. It’s been a great year, I’ve a lot of fun and I can’t wait to see what the next six months hold.Tampa Bay
