The St. Petersburg Police Department honored 15 officers killed in the line of duty on Tuesday

The St. Petersburg Police Department paid homage to 15 officers killed in the line of duty on Tuesday, May 21, during their annual memorial service. The ceremony was held at Demens Landing Park along the waterfront during the early evening hours. Sgt. Marlin Heyward rang the bell 15 times, representing the distinguished service of each officer.
