Our photographers welcomed a distraction from daily coronavirus coverage to capture the moonrise on Tuesday. The April pink moon is the largest and brightest supermoon of 2020. Throughout Tampa Bay people out walking by the waterfront could catch sight of the large orb rising over the eastern horizon. Did you see it?

April's pink supermoon is also the brightest moon of 2020 and a welcome distraction from current events. On Tuesday, evening strolls were boosted by the sight of the large, pink orb rising from the eastern horizon to glow bright and large throughout the night.
