Largo to host ribbon cutting for electric vehicle stations

Largo is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the city's first public electric vehicle charging stations at the Largo Public Library on Tuesday at 3 p.m. The city partnered with Duke Energy to provide the charging stations located at Ulmer Park, the Largo Public Library and City Hall. All stations are free to the public. Future site locations include the Central Park Performing Arts Center, Belcher Soccer Complex and the Southwest Recreation Center.

Brooklyn Art Library's Bookmobile to stop in St. Petersburg

The Brooklyn Art Library, a New York based collection that houses largest collection of artist sketchbooks, launched a Bookmobile to bring accessible art to a wider audience. The Bookmobile will spend its winter residency in Florida, including stops from December 18-20 at Intermezzo coffee shop and cocktail bar and on Dec. 15 and Dec. 22 at the St. Petersburg Saturday Morning Market.
