Pinellas health department offering free hepatitis A vaccines

The Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County is providing no-cost hepatitis A vaccines at the Showers, Shots and Soap outreach event in Lealman on June 1. Adults can receive vaccines and access to shower facilities and soap at the event which will be held at Lealman Community Park, 3875 54th Ave N, St. Petersburg. USCG offers safe boating program

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 78 has a 12-week repeating cycle of safe boating program meetings every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Warren Webster Building, 1500 Pass-a-Grille Way, St. Pete Beach. Participants can start at any point in the cycle, but must arrive the first time at 6:30 p.m. to register. Included in the program are detailed and illustrated materials that cover a variety of topics.
