TARPON SPRINGS — The city is launching its Explore Tarpon Springs Photo Contest. The contest is open to residents, non-residents and city employees of all skill levels and will accept photos in six categories: parks and recreation, arts and culture, history, coastal Tarpon Springs, landscapes and wildlife and drone photos. The contest ends June 1. A selection committee will identify first, second and third place photos in each category. The contest winners and their photos will be announced at a City Commission meeting, recognized via social media and a new website, used in new marketing materials and featured in a public exhibit at the Tarpon Springs Heritage Museum during the month of July. For contest rules and information on how to submit entries, visit TarponArts.org/photocontest.
