UPDATE, 11:55: Cash said they are "very excited" to see De Leon pitch today, especially since the Red Sox lineup is loaded with regulars, though they don't want him to try to do too much. ... Cash didn't have much in the way of injury updates, but said they are trying to push OF Mallex Smith (side) "a litttle" bit because they want to see him on the field soon, and that 1B Logan Morrison (wrist surgery) has had some discomfort when throwing but is okay hitting. Smith has been taking BP on the field.

UPDATE, 9:11: Here is the Rays lineup, with Nick Franklin playing CF for just the second time in his pro career:

Dickerson lf,
Franklin cf,
Bauers RF,
Gillaspie 1b,
Casali c,
Maile DH,
Robertson ss,
Brett 2b,
Leonard 3b,
De Leon P

DEVELOPING: The Rays are headed to Fort Myers again, this time to face the Red Sox at JetBlue Park, with RHP Jose De Leon making his spring debut.

De Leon is the highly ranked prospect acquired in January from the Dodgers for 2B Logan Forsythe in a deal that was not universally well-received, De Leon is a few days behind schedule as he missed a bullpen session early in camp due to tightness in his back.

The Rays aren't sending many of their big names south, with C Curt Casali, OL Corey Dickerson and INF/OF Nick Franklin the most prominent.

The Red Sox lineup does feature many of their big names:
Pedroia 2B,
Holt SS,
Betts RF,
Ramirez DH,
Moreland 1B,
Young LF,
Bradley Jr. CF,
Sandoval 3B,
Vazquez C,
Rodriguez LHP
