This month, Rebelution released its fifth studio album, Falling Into Place. But another release has keyboardist Rory Carey excited: Rebelution IPA.
The beer, brewed with Tampa's Rock Brothers Brewing and Cigar City Brewing, is a West Coast IPA created with input from Carey, a craft beer fiend and former home brewer. It will debut during a festival this weekend at St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park and be available on local taps shortly thereafter.
"It's really good," he said in a recent phone interview. "It's going to clock in around 7.5 percent, so that's a little higher than the average session beer. But it'll still be fine. Drink some water in between, you'll be good."
Doors open at 4 p.m. for the festival on Saturday, which also features the Green, Stick Figure, J Boog and Through the Roots. Tickets are $30 and up. Click here.
