PHILADELPHIA—The Lightning took the ice for warmups without Brayden Point. The team’s goal leader will miss Tuesday’s game against the Flyers.

Point missed a team meeting and thus will not play.

Tampa Bay reassigned Mathieu Joseph to the AHL to make room for Jan Rutta with Victor Hedman injured. That means the Lightning will play both Danick Martel and Ryan Callahan, who have been the healthy scratches.

Tyler Johnson moves back to the second line, taking Point’s spot at center between Yanni Gourde and Nikita Kucherov. J.T. Miller moves up to the top line on Steven Stamkos’ right wing. Adam Erne shifts to the third line.

This lineup demonstrates the Lightning’s depth. Not many teams could adjust to those roster chances as smoothly. Moving a player from the wing center, in particular, is not easy.
