TAMPA – The Lightning will host its third annual Pride Night on Monday with conjunction with the NHL’s Hockey Is For Everyone initiative.

Players will wrap their sticks in rainbow-colored tape for morning skate and warm-ups before the puck drops at 7 p.m. Monday against the L.A. Kings.

Select sticks will be auctioned off throughout the night with the proceeds benefitting the You Can Play project.

Fans will also be able to showcase their pride by participating in the Lightning’s typical 50/50 raffle. Usually half of the proceeds benefit the Moffit Cancer Center, however half the proceeds from Monday’s raffle will go toward local non-profits within Tampa’s LGTBQ+ community.

As the team’s You Can Play ambassador, Victor Hedman will read off a PSA during the game.
