WWE star Titus O’Neil finalist for Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award

WWE wrestler Titus O’Neil — aka Thaddeus Bullard, a former Florida Gators football player who is well-known in the Tampa Bay area for his philanthropy — is a finalist for the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award.

Also among the finalists announced Wednesday by ESPN are the Minnesota Twins’ Nelson Cruz, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kevin Love, the Minnesota Lynx’s Maya Moore, and brothers Devin and Jason McCourty of the New England Patriots.

Finalists for the humanitarian team of the year award are the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York City FC and Sacramento Kings.

The awards honor athletes, teams and sports industry professionals who are using sports to make a difference in their communities. This year’s awards will combine with The ESPYS, which will air June 21.
