The boxers were well prepared, having spent weeks and months training for Friday night's "Thunder on the Bay'' at the Tampa Convention Center. The organizers? Not so prepared. The event that was intended to showcase Tampa Bay boxing prospects was canceled before the first bout when the ring broke during a safety inspection. "It's a major disappointment," said Tampa's Omar Albanil, pictured. "I don't even know if I'm going to fight again. This was going to be my last fight."
