When Bruce Arians took the Buccaneers coaching job, he said the team had the core to win quickly.Don’t bet on it.The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook recently released odds on the 2019 season, and it sees the Bucs as long shots to make the playoffs. Tampa Bay hasn’t made the playoffs since the 2007 season, the second-longest drought in the NFL (Cleveland has been absent since the 2002 season).Westgate set the over/under for Bucs wins at 6.5. Seems enticing until you realize the line was 6.5 last year, too. Only five teams (the Bengals, Giants, Raiders, Cardinals and Dolphins) have a lower over/under.The Bucs’ odds of winning the NFC South are 16-1. The Saints are favored to win the division. As for Super Bowl LIV (hey, it’s possible), the odds of confetti falling on the Bucs on Feb. 2 in Miami are 100-1. Those are the third-worst odds and are higher than they were three months ago, when their odds were 80-1.If you’re the type that likes to get in on the action, there’s really only about 10 teams worth a look, and they are: Chiefs, Patriots, Rams, Saints, Colts, Bears, Chargers, Steelers, Vikings and Ravens.
