On first down, Murray scrambles but Cardinals called for holding. It’s first and 20 from the 38. JPP forces an incompletion. It’s now 2nd and 20 with 10 seconds remaining. Murray throws it up but it’s broken up by Jamel Dean and the Bucs win.
On third down, Murrary throws short to Drake. It’s 4th and 5 with under a minute. Murray in the shotgun, throws right, but Hargreaves is called for pass interference. New life for Arizona at their own 48.
railing by 3, the Cardinals run on first down and gain nothing. Murray throws right and it’s broken up by Vernon Hargreaves.
On first down, Winston play fakes, rolls right, no one is open and he throws it away. Vita Vea in for a second play at fullback/tight end. Barber leaps from the two but comes up short. Barber goes around the right end with blocks from Vea and Brate. TOUCHDOWN. It’s Bucs 30, Cardinals 27.
After the two-minute warning, Winston throws incomplete into the end zone. Evans wants a pass interference call. After review, the Cardinals are called for PI. It’s first and goal from the 1.
Peyton Barber takes the handoff from Winston and rumbles down to the 13. Winston throws into the end zone but it’s batted down by Kevin Peterson. At the two-minute warning, the Bucs face a second and 10 from the Arizona 13.
Winston throws to Godwin. He breaks a tackle and gains 49 yards. On first and 10 from the Cardinals 43, Arizona is called for pass interference. Mike Evans draws the penalty and now it’s first and 10 on the Cardinals 27 with 2:50 remaining.
The Bucs stop the Cardinals on first down and then Jamel Dean comes up with a huge interception on second down. Murray made his first mistake of the day, tossing a wild pass and then diving deeper into regret when his receiver fell down. With 3:40 remaining, the Bucs take over at their own 7 yard line.
Drake dropped for a loss, but Murray then throws to Fitzgerald on second down for 24 yards. It’s first down at the Bucs 15.
Arizona takes over at the Bucs’ 44. After an incomplete pass, Kenyan Drake races around the right end for 17 yards. Arizona now at the Bucs 40 and threatening to put the game away.
Jones was making a big gain on another screen play, but he fumbles and the Cardinals’ Buddha Baker recovers after a gain of 21.
The Bucs take over at their own 16 with 7:17 remaining. Winston throws deep to Mike Evans and its incomplete. On second down, Winston connects with Evans for a 19-yard gain.
On first and 10, the Cardinals dropped for a two-yard loss. But on second down, Murray throws to Christian Kirk. TOUCHDOWN. The Bucs appeared to be in a zone and while Devin White tipped the pass, Kirk was able to maintain concentration and haul it in. Arizona now leads 27-23.

Bucs coach Bruce Arians throws the challenge flag and the play is under review. Larry Fitzgerald and M.J. Stewart got their arms tangled and Fitzgerald got the call. The refs don’t overturn it. They’ve only overturned a handful of calls all year.
It’s a fake punt. Punter Andy Lee throws to Pharoh Cooper and now Arizona has the ball at the Bucs 38.
Arizona takes over at its own 25. Two runs net the Cardinals a first down at the 35. After an incomplete pass, Jason Pierre-Paul chases Murray into another errant throw. It’s third and 10 from the 35. Jamel Dean breaks up a deep throw and the Cardinals will punt with 8:39 remaining in the game.
Given a reprieve, Gay’s kick is good. It’s now Bucs 23, Cardinals 20 with 9:48 remaining in the game.
Matt Gay misses the field goal, but Arizona called for offsides. Patrick Peterson jumps and now Gay will attempt a 41-yarder.
The Bucs get penalized and then Winston gets dropped because no one blocks Arizona defensive end Rodney Gunther. On second and 23, Winston completes a pass to Ogunbowale. On third and 15, Winston scrambles out of the pocket and sets up a 46-yard field goal attempt.
After a short, first-down run by Jones, Winston throws from the shotgun to Jones and he’s stopped for a short gain. It’ll be third and 8 from the Arizona 42. Winston in the shotgun, looks right and throws a down and out to Godwin for a first down. But he appears to be staring down his targets. It’s first and 10 at the Arizona 30.
On first and 10, Winston throws incomplete as Chris Godwin falls down. Bucs penalized for a snap infraction and now it’s second and 15. Scotty Miller, the rookie out of Bowling Green, makes a deep catch in zone coverage. The 28 yarder gives Tampa Bay a first and 10 at the Arizona 44.
Third Quarter
The Bucs, with a second chance, start at their own 11. Jones runs on first down and is stuffed for a loss. It’s second and 12. Winston throws incomplete and it’s third and 12. Winston drops back into the end zone and then scrambles for a 26-yard gain, taking the ball out to the Bucs 35 as the quarter ends.
Arizona after a short gain, throws short to David Johnson. Lavonte David, the veteran leader, comes up big. Forces a fumble and recovers it. David is one of the NFL leaders in forced fumbles since 2012. It’s the first lost fumble by the Cardinals this season.
The Bucs, close to the goal line, get called for holding. That moves the ball back and after a short Barber run, it’s third and 11. Winston drops back, throws into traffic and it’s intercepted by Jordan Hicks at the Bucs 20. It’s the second interception of the day by Winston.
The Cardinals start at the 21 and quickly move out to the 39 with the help of a 15-yard reception by tight end Maxx Williams. But the drive stalls. Arizona punts. The Bucs will take over at their own 11-yard line.
Winston throws short to Chris Godwin and he turns it into a huge gain. But it’s called back because of a holding penalty on Breshad Perriman. Winston throws deep to Howard but it’s broken up. On third and 18, Bucs run a draw to T.J. Logan and then punts. Cardinals will take over at their own 19.
The Cardinals trying to keep up with Jones. He runs for three yards and then catches a pass for five yards. It’s third and 2 for the Bucs. Winston throws short to Ogunbowale to pick up the first down.
As bad as the Bucs defense has been, it has done a fairly good job of limiting big scoring plays. But the pass from Murray to Kirk counters that. Meanwhile, Winston’s ability to throw deep appears to be waning today. He’s missed Mike Evans and Breshad Perriman on deep throws that could have made a difference.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Christian Kirk catches a 69-yard pass from Kyler Murray to tie the game at 20-20. TOUCHDOWN! Ryan Smith had the coverage, looked in the backfield for a second and Kirk just ran right by him. One thing Murray can do is throw a deep ball. Fox Sports analyst Chris Spielman credits the up-tempo offense of Arizona for Smith’s mistake.
Rookie Matt Gay converts his second field goal of the game and now it’s 20-13 Bucs with 8:42 remaining in the third quarter.
Winston gets sacked as Arizona brings pressure. On 2nd and 14, Winston under duress throws deep to Scotty Miller. He misses what would have been a tough catch but a touchdown. On third down, Winston goes with the wide receiver screen to Perriman who’s dropped just short of the first down, setting up a 45-yard field goal attempt.
Jones runs for no gain and then Winston connects with Evans on a 27-yard gain down to the Arizona 29.
It’s more Ronald Jones as the Bucs take over. He gains a yard on first down, catches a pass for eight yards on second down and then rushes for 11 yards on third and 1. Bucs on the move at their 44.
After Murray scrambles and completes a short pass, Arizona goes for it on fourth down but a wide open tight end, Maxx Williams, appears to lose the ball in the sun. Bucs take over at their own 23.
Andy Isabella gets loose on a run-pass option and picks up 51 yards. Arizona already in scoring position. Kenyan Drake picks up five yards on first down but Vita Vea deflects a pass on second down. It’s the 13th batted pass by Murray. That’s tied for the league lead.
The first half takeaways. Bucs secondary still struggling with communication as Sean Murphy-Bunting gives up easy touchdown. Cardinals secondary also struggling as both defensive units have not played well. Offensively, Ronald Jones continues to emerge as another weapon, this time making a big splash in the running game.
Second Quarter
Winston throws again to Howard and it’s a TOUCHDOWN. Cardinals leave Howard wide open. Both teams victimized by defensive breakdowns and fans witness two touchdowns in the last minute of the half.
The Bucs have been criticized for not using O.J. Howard more, but he got involved today.
Bucs take over with 1:03 remaining. Two completions move the into Arizona territory. A third to Dare Ogunbowale gives the Bucs a first and 10 on the 33. Winston throws into double coverage and O.J. Howard makes unreal catch on 26-yarder to take the ball down to the 10-yard line with 12 second remaining.
On first and 10 from the Bucs 33-yard line, Murray hands off to Kenyan Drake for no gain. On second, Murray throws deep to Christian Kirk and it’s a TOUCHDOWN. Rookie Sean Murphy-Bunting expects inside help on the deep route but it wasn’t there. It’s an easy pass and catch for Murray and Kirk.
Arizona is now on the move. Andy Isabella hauls in a 17-yarder and after a short run by Kenyon Drake, the Cardinals are at the Bucs 41-yard line at the two-minute warning. Ndumakong Suh sacks Murray on third down. Now the Cardinals face a fourth and 5 at the Bucs 44. Murray throws an out to Larry Fitzgerald and he makes a diving, acrobatic catch to get the first down. Cardinals now deep in Bucs territory with 1:20 remaining in the half.
The Bucs go three and out and punt again, pinning Arizona deep. A holding call against the Cardinals puts the ball even deeper. Arizona takes over at the 3 yard line. Murray takes off on a run and takes it all the way out to the 35 yard line.
Murray and the Cardinals take over at the 7. Murray scrambles out of the end zone and throws a short pass to Christian Kirk. On 2nd and 6, Murray throws deep but it’s incomplete. Tampa Bay blitzes and forces an incomplete pass. Barrett rushes inside forcing Murray to throw off his back foot.
The Bucs take over at their own 37. After a short gain by Jones, Winston throws short to O.J. Howard for six yards. On third and 3, Winston throws for T.J. Lane but overthrows him. Bucs punt and Bradley Pinion drops it inside the Arizona 10
Bucs drop Kenyan Drake for a six-yard loss and Murray throws incomplete. On third and 16 from their own 19, Arizona gives up a sack. Shaquil Barrett drops Kyler Murray for a five-yard loss and Arizona punts from its own 13.
Rookie Matt Gay converts a 30-yard field goal and Tampa Bay goes up 10-6 with 8:57 remaining in the second quarter.
Winston gets called for intentional grounding and the Bucs lose a down. It’s 2nd and 20 from the 23. Winston throws to Breshad Perriman on a receiver screen and now Tampa Bay has a third and 9 from the 12. Winston looks for tight end O.J. Howard but it’s batted at the line of scrimmage, and the Bucs line up for a field goal.
Barber runs again, this time picking up 17. A third consecutive run by Barber moves the ball to the Arizona 27. Barber carries for a fourth consecutive play, gains little but the Cardinals get flagged for personal foul. Chandler Jones falls into a classic Ryan Jensen instigation trap and now the Bucs have a first and 10 at the 13.
Jones picks up another nice gain on a screen pass and the Bucs move into Arizona territory. Barber runs on first down and loses a yard. It’s second and 11 from the Arizona 49.
The Bucs face a third and 5 from their own 30. Winston comes up with nifty scramble and picks up first down.
The Cardinals’ hurry-up offense bogged down, and they settle for a 55-yard field goal to narrow the gap. It won’t be the last time the Bucs face a hurry-up effort from Arizona today.
Arizona gets flagged for consecutive procedure penalties. Now third and 20 for the Cardinals. Tight end Charles Clay catches a short pass and now the Cardinals face a 55-yard field goal attempt. Zane Gonzalez drills the attempt and now it’s Bucs 7, Cardinals 6.
First Quarter
Fitzgerald gets the first down on a short reception. David Johnson bottled up by rookie linebacker Devin White and now Arizona faces a 2nd and 10. White again steps up and levels Johnson for a loss. As the first quarter ends, Arizona facing third and long near the Bucs 30-yard line.
Arizona now facing a 3rd and 3 from the Bucs 35. Cardinals call a time out.
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray throws again to Fitzgerald and then hands off to Kenyon Drake to move the ball inside the Bucs 40.
Arizona takes over on first and 10 from the 25-yard line. Murray throws to venerable receiver Larry Fitzgerald and then throws again Christian Kirk. Cardinals in hurry up and have moved the ball to midfield on three passes.
The Bucs overcome three penalties and with the help of an Arizona penalty, take a 7-3 lead.
After a short pass to Godwin, Jones takes the handoff and bolts through the middle for a 7-yard touchdown run.
Tampa Bay gets flagged for illegal formation. It’s first and 15 from the Cardinals 32. Jones runs for short gain and then Winston throws a deep in to Mike Evans to sit up first and goal from the Arizona 9.
Winston fumbles on first down as Chandler Jones and Terrell Suggs continue to bring pressure. Bucs throw screen and Ronald Jones picks up the first down. Bucs continue drive from the Arizona 27.
On first and 10 from Cardinals 48, Peyton Barber gains five. Barber runs again and gets stuffed. It’s third-and-5 from the Arizona 43. Cardinals bring five men and sack Winston, but Arizona called for defensive holding. It’s an automatic first down from the Cardinals 38.
Bucs take over at their own 35 after Arizona kicks the ball out of bounds. Big completion negated by penalty on Donovan Smith and now Bucs face 2nd and 22. Winston throws the Jones for a gain of 7. On third and 15, Winston flares out to Jones and he turns it up to get the first down.
Zane Gonzalez converts 37-yard field goal after Winston INT to give Arizona early lead.
Cardinals pick up a first down and now have the ball inside the Bucs 20. Shaquil Barrett drops Cardinals David Johnson for a four-yard loss. After an incomplete pass, Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray throws wildly on third. It’s incomplete. It’s fourth and 14 from the Bucs 19.
Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston throws an interception on Tampa Bay’s opening drive. Byron Murphy Jr. breaks on a down and out and now the Cardinals are driving in Bucs territory.
