Dec. 21 or Dec. 22? NFL finally schedules Bucs-Texans game

The league previously left the game’s date and time undetermined.

The NFL has scheduled the kickoff for the Week 16 Bucs-Texans contest at Raymond James Stadium for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21.

When the league released the schedule in April, it left the date and time of the game undetermined, stating only that it would be played on Dec. 21 or Dec. 22. The league traditionally slates a certain number of games on Saturday after the conclusion of the college football season.

The game will be broadcast nationally on NFL Network and aired locally on WMOR-TV. In addition, the game will air on WXTB-97.9 FM.

The league also made the following changes to its Week 12 and Week 16 schedules. All times are local

WEEK 12 (Nov. 24):

  • Green Bay at San Francisco moves from 4:25 p.m. on FOX to 8:20 p.m. on NBC.
  • Seattle at Philadelphia moves from 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC to 1 p.m. on FOX.
  • Carolina at New Orleans moves from 1 p.m. on FOX to 1 p.m. on CBS.
  • Miami at Cleveland moves from 1 p.m. on CBS to 1 p.m. on FOX.

WEEK 16 (Dec. 21-22):

  • Buffalo at New England has been scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 21, at 4:30 p.m. on NFL Network.
  • Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco has been scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 21, at 8:15 p.m. on NFL Network.
  • Detroit at Denver has been scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 22, at 4:05 p.m. on CBS.
  • Oakland at the Los Angeles Chargers has been scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 22, at 4:05 p.m. on CBS.
