Bucs linebacker Devin White keeps piling up top rookie honors

White finishes the season with consecutive NFL rookie of the month honors

Devin White became the first Tampa Bay Buccaneers player to win the NFL’s month rookie award in consecutive months today when he was named Defensive Rookie of the Month for December.

White, who combined for 22 tackles, three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and one defensive touchdown in the Bucs’ final four games, will be in contention for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors, to be announced Feb. 1 during the NFL Honors banquet in Miami.
