TAMPA — Over the past few days, several Bucs players have expressed their excitement via social media about adding Tom Brady.

Wide receiver Mike Evans isn’t one of them. He’s been active on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, but hasn’t made any mention of Brady becoming his new quarterback.

Does the Bucs WR1 approve of TB12? Evans is a good friend of Jameis Winston and one of Winston’s biggest supporters. But Evans offered up his take on Brady becoming a Buc while playing Fortnite on the Twitch live-stream app.

“It’s surreal,” Evans said on the stream. “He’s about to be my quarterback, bro. I know you don’t know football like that, but I’ve played six years in the NFL, and I haven’t been to the playoffs yet. Tom Brady has won six Super Bowls.”

Evans admitted he was celebrating with a drink.

“Bro, I’ve been on that Hennessy, man,” Evans said. “I’m drinking. I’ve got Tom Brady, you know what I’m saying?”
