TAMPA — Bruce Arians has been known throughout his coaching career as a quarterback whisperer. Could his secret weapon for getting his point across be a deadly flying elbow?Arians’ new tight end certainly is aware and has his eye on the Bucs boss.Rob Gronkowski acknowledged to his brother, Chris, on the Gronk’d Up podcast this week that Arians is a threat. The four-time All-Pro was acquired by Tampa Bay in a trade with New England last month, just weeks after he won the WWE 24/7 championship at WrestleMania 36 in Orlando. The requirement of being the 24/7 titleholder is you are always defending your belt , meaning anyone at any time can try to pin you and take the championship — even a 67-year-old NFL coach.“Imagine, like, coming out of the (tight ends) meeting room, I’m like looking to my left in the hallway … looking to the right to make sure no one else is out of the meetings yet, and then all of a sudden I think I’m in the clear and I start walking down the hallway," Gronkowski said on the podcast."... Coach Arians just comes out of nowhere with a flying elbow, takes me out and pins me and becomes the 24/7 champ. That would be legendary. That would be an honor to lose to him.”Something else he might want to consider: Gronkowski won the 24/7 title by pinning then-champion, and friend, Mojo Rawley at WrestleMania. Hmm, wonder if Gronk has reunited with another longtime friend on the Bucs who joined the team a month before he did and would be an even more sensational “face” to turn heel?Head on a swivel, Gronk.
