TAMPA — Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski will have another former Patriots teammate joining the Bucs.
Tampa Bay has reached an agreement with defensive lineman Kyle Love, who spent the past six seasons as a backup with Carolina, recording 9½ sacks.
Love, 33, will provide depth and experience on the Bucs defensive line. Originally, Love joined New England as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State in 2010, spending three seasons with the Patriots. He also had stops on the practice squads in Kansas City and Jacksonville.
Love is having to go through COVID-19 protocol and should complete testing and be able to sign Sunday. He has 15 career sacks, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.
