TAMPA — The Bucs' plan was to surround Tom Brady with two Pro Bowl receivers. Two weeks into the season, that plan has become complicated.Receiver Chris Godwin did not practice again Thursday and remains in concussion protocol, putting in doubt his status for Sunday’s home opener against Carolina.Godwin sustained a helmet-to-helmet hit from Saints safety D.J. Swearinger in the fourth quarter of last Sunday’s 34-23 loss. Godwin left the game immediately and did not show any symptoms of a concussion on Monday or Tuesday. But he had some issues Wednesday and was placed in concussion protocol. He will have to be cleared by an independent neurologist before he can play.Pro Bowl receiver Mike Evans, who missed two days of practice last week and at one point was doubtful for the season opener at the Saints with a hamstring strain, played the whole game last Sunday.
