Bucs right tackle Tristan Wirfs and free safety Antoine Winfield Jr., both of whom have started every game this season, have been named to the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) All-Rookie team.

This marks the second consecutive year Tampa Bay has had two representatives on the 27-member squad, which can be seen here. Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting and linebacker Devin White made the 2019 team.

Wirfs rapidly has evolved into a potential franchise cornerstone, allowing one sack all year despite playing every offensive snap. Collectively, the Bucs have allowed a sack on 3.51 percent of all pass attempts, the second-lowest mark in the NFL and second-lowest in team history for a single season.

Winfield’s 3.0 sacks in the regular season tied for the second-most by an NFL defensive back. Among rookies, he ranked fifth in the regular season in tackles (91), tied for third in sacks and tied for fifth in both passes defensed (six) and forced fumbles (two).

His forced fumble in Sunday’s 30-20 playoff triumph against the Saints set up a game-tying touchdown in the third quarter.
