Suddenly, Tampa Bay is the center of the sports world.
Months after the Lightning won the Stanley Cup and the Rays advanced to the World Series, the Bucs moved on to the Super Bowl with a 31-26 win over the Packers in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
They will become the first NFL team to play in a Super Bowl in its home stadium Feb. 7 at Raymond James Stadium.
“We’re coming home, and we’re coming home to win,” coach Bruce Arians said on the field after the game.
