Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the betting favorite to win the Super Bowl 55 MVP award, according to lines listed Monday morning by the betting site sportsbetting.ag.

Mahomes’ odds are plus-100, according to the site. The next-best odds belong to Bucs quarterback Tom Brady (plus-200), meaning a $100 bet wins $200. Next on the list: Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and receiver Tyreek Hill (plus-1,000) and Bucs receivers Chris Godwin and Mike Evans (plus-2,800).

Among the other notable prop bets:

The site’s line for under 1½ players missing the game due to the coronavirus: minus-300, meaning a $300 bet wins $100. Compare that to over 1½, which is plus-200.

“COVID” (minus-175) is favored to be said before “pandemic” (plus-135). And “mask” or “masks” (minus-200) is favored to be said before “coronavirus” (plus-150).

The site lists minus-200 odds that “Belichick” — as in Brady’s former coach in New England, Bill Belichick — will be said at least once.

The over/under on how many times Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, will be shown is 1½. For NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, it’s minus-200 odds he will be shown under 1½ times and plus-150 that he’ll be shown more often.

“Blinding Lights” (plus-175) is the favorite for the first song to be performed by The Weeknd, followed by “Pray For Me.” (plus-250).

And if you’re not into the game itself but love dogs, Team Ruff and Team Fluff both have minus-120 odds to win the Puppy Bowl.
