Bucs aren’t early favorites to win the next Super Bowl

As the Bucs and their fans continue to celebrate Sunday’s Super Bowl 55 triumph, online sportsbooks are already listing early odds for Super Bowl 56.

Tampa Bay isn’t the favorite to win it all. That honor goes to … the Chiefs, whom the Bucs just beat.

Kansas City has the best odds on every site I checked Monday morning. The Bucs are somewhere between second and fourth, depending on the oddsmakers.

It’s worth remembering that repeat championships are rare. Only one team has won back-to-back Super Bowls this century: Tom Brady’s Patriots (Super Bowls 38 and 39).
