TAMPA ― Tom Brady wore a compression sleeve on his left knee during the Bucs’ boat parade Wednesday.

It may not have been in case he slipped on the deck of his $2 million, 55-foot boat while cruising down the Hillsborough River. Or if his plant leg gave out throwing the Lombardi Trophy to Cameron Brate.

Brady, 43, will need a minor surgical procedure for what Bruce Arians called “a cleanup” sometime during the offseason.

It’s the same knee where Brady suffered a torn ACL in 2010.

“He’s going to do a little cleanup,” Arians said.

Brady did not miss a practice or a game in 22 weeks for the Bucs this season. He occasionally took a scheduled day off during the week, especially later in the season.

Brady passed for a club-record 40 touchdowns while passing for 4,633 yards in his first season with the Bucs. He threw another 10 TDs in four playoffs games, including the Super Bowl.
