TAMPA — The prospect of facing Colts running back Jonathan Taylor without inside linebacker Devin White probably was not too appetizing to the Bucs on this Thanksgiving.

But White, who sustained a quad injury in Monday night’s 30-10 win over the Giants, returned to a full padded practice Thursday morning and was joined by defensive tackle Vita Vea, who missed the last game with a knee injury. Both were limited, along with safety Mike Edwards (groin).

It was a good sign considering Taylor is the NFL’s leading rusher and coming off a game in which he scored five touchdowns.

Earlier Thursday, defensive coordinator Todd Bowles spoke about the possibility of being without White for Sunday’s game at Indianapolis.

“Anytime one of your starters goes down, you feel like you’re a little bit hamstrung,” Bowles said. “But we’ve been doing it all year.”

Receiver Mike Evans (back strain), linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder) and guard Ali Marpet (abdomen) did not practice. Receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) still seems to be all least a week away from playing and did not practice.
