TAMPA — USF has announced another significant change to its season opener: Saturday night’s game against The Citadel now will be broadcast on ESPNU.

The contest initially was slated for a live-streaming audience on ESPN+, but the game’s recent shift to an evening kickoff, coupled with some game cancellations around the country due to COVID-19, allowed the Bulls and Bulldogs to gain a cable-TV slot.

The Bulls' first three games now are set for TV broadcasts. Their Sept. 19 game at Notre Dame (2:30 p.m.) will be shown on USA, and their Sept. 26 game at Florida Atlantic (6 p.m.) will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
